Back to school, yippee!

So today, after a whole week off due to upper respiratory illnesses, all 4 of my children will be heading back to school! Thank the Gods above for small miracles, because I really am very (VERY) tired of the bitter, angry, bitch at each other for 24 hours a day, children that have kidnapped their ickle little bodies.

Really... being trapped in a hourse with 4 children who are sickly, fever ridden critters makes you a much better woman than I. Woman, thy name is C! She is awesome, because I seriously would have been committed by now. I am ready to send them all packing to the nearest military school after just the weekend with them. So, to all of you who stay home, or spend an inordinate amount of time with your critters on a daily basis, I say thank you from all of us who would have probably left them somewhere rather than listen to the bitching! (I kid, but REALLY!!!)

  1. I have kept a list of military schools by my phone for years. I can fax it to you...

  2. 4 sick kids, at the same time? And I thought that having my 2 kids at home together was a nightmare! Good luck keeping a healthy household!

  3. @The Mother-can I have the list if I promise to only send the middle two? I would hate to tax our military! ;)

@Becky-Yes,4! I spent last night in the ER with the fairy princess who had an acute asthma attack and was sent home with an SA02 of 93%...boo to the er!

  4. You are very welcome. ;)

My daughter drives me NUTS when she's sick. Especially because she refuses to believe that she's sick. She gets that from her dad.

Additionally, can you believe that there is a mental illness where people make their children sick on purpose? I mean, what is THAT about?!

(I know that was kind of non sequitur. I have no idea how to spell that. Oh, see I did it again.)

  5. @Faiqa-yes that mental illness is Munchausen's by proxy syndrome. I often worry that people will think that about us because the small one and the large one are sick so often, however really what are you going to do with chronic asthma kiddos? I don't know, still haven't figured it out. We just do the best we can.
